The Merchants of Main Street put on First Friday and think it's a phenomenal way to celebrate summer with family and friends.
First Fridays is a free, fun, monthly event that is a great way to experience all that Historic Main Street has to offer. You can enjoy live music, check out the many classic cars on display, and indulge in hot dogs and brats served up by the Kiwanis Club.
Most businesses remain open until 8 pm with many offering free refreshments Guests are entertained both in the stores and on the streets. The air is light, the spirit festive and the drinks cold in downtown, where, once a month the pedestrian-friendly streets transform into a huge block party during FIRST FRIDAY.
It's a place to meet friends new and old, and rejoice in the preservation and innovation of an historical neighborhood.
